What is it about him
that makes women fall?
Is it his lavish looks, hair and body,
or is it the fact that he is tall?

Narcissus, a name we all know
The sound of his voice makes women shiver.
Every time he looks at you,
yet again you fall and you quiver.

Who you are,
he has not the slightest clue.
He wishes to meet you,
no never mind, that's not true.He is to good for you,
so why do you care?
Please do not love him,
or even have an affair.

You should know that Narcissus,
whose looks just make you melt,
saw his own reflection,
and now he loves himself.

Your poem is AWSOME! My favorite line is "Everything shined like a star, as if he stole them from the sky and from far" ( i have to facebook status that ! ). The poem caught my attention & made me feel sorry for Midas. You did a really good job.

I love the line about gold not having a soul. It really hints at a greater significance of the Midas story: that money (gold) has no soul, no true depth and personality.

Your first 3 stanzas have a rhyming pattern, but then the last 2 don't. Why?

I don't understand "She turned to gold and said but silent." Is this a typo?

Did everything go back to normal in the story we read?
